So yes, it's possible. Just right-click on the 301 URL Tracker folder node under the Settings section and click "Create". Then you'll get a pop-up where you can select the node for which you'd like to create a URL mapping.
At the right frame of umbraco you'll get the ability to enter the old url '/en/webdevelopment/' and after you hit the button 'Add mapping', it should work :-)
Hi kipusoep (funny nickname, in Dutch this resembles something like 'chicken soup' :)
Thanks for your help, had tried the above scenario, but apparently I entered the wrong url (www.webmove.be/en/webdevelopment). Now I have tried it with '/en/webdevelopment/' and it works !
redirect an url of an old page before 301 URL Tracker was installed
Hi,
I just installed 301 URL Tracker for my website and it's seems like a great package for SEO. The problem I have currently is that I removed a page
http://www.webmove.be/en/webdevelopment/
to a new location:
http://www.webmove.be/en/services/webdevelopment/
I did this before I installed the 301 URL Tracker, so the old page was not stored by the 301 URL Tracker.
So is there a way to create a 301 redirect for this old url via the 301 URL Tracker or should I make the redirect in an other way?
Thanks for your help,
Anthony Candaele
