    Uninstall error - UrlTracker

when I uninstalled the package because of the "Http Module not installed" error, the message shows that it was successfully uninstalled but I kept on getting this message on dashboard:

Could not load control: '/Umbraco/UrlTracker/InfoCaster.Umbraco.UrlTracker.UI.UrlTrackerManagerWrapper.ascx'. Error message: System.Web.HttpException (0x80004005): The file '/Umbraco/UrlTracker/InfoCaster.Umbraco.UrlTracker.UI.UrlTrackerManagerWrapper.ascx' does not exist. at System.Web.Compilation.BuildManager.GetVPathBuildResultInternal(VirtualPath virtualPath, Boolean noBuild, Boolean allowCrossApp, Boolean allowBuildInPrecompile, Boolean throwIfNotFound, Boolean ensureIsUpToDate) at System.Web.Compilation.BuildManager.GetVPathBuildResultWithNoAssert(HttpContext context, VirtualPath virtualPath, Boolean noBuild, Boolean allowCrossApp, Boolean allowBuildInPrecompile, Boolean throwIfNotFound, Boolean ensureIsUpToDate) at System.Web.Compilation.BuildManager.GetVPathBuildResult(HttpContext context, VirtualPath virtualPath, Boolean noBuild, Boolean allowCrossApp, Boolean allowBuildInPrecompile, Boolean ensureIsUpToDate) at System.Web.UI.TemplateControl.LoadControl(VirtualPath virtualPath) at Umbraco.Web.UI.Umbraco.Dashboard.UserControlProxy.OnInit(EventArgs e)

    I am using Umbraco 7.1.1 on IIS 7 + Windows 2008 Server

Users can't right click on any page because this kept showing up..

    Hi Mark

I think you should perhaps try to see if the url tracker entry in the /config/dashboard.config is removed...

Also try checking the /bin/ folder and see if it still contains some files with the "url.tracker" name in them. And check the /usercontrols/ folder to see if everything is removed.

    Hope this helps.

    /Jan

    Hi Mark

I'm very happy to hear that - Please mark the issue as solved so others can go straight to the solution if they experience the same issue at some point :)

    Cheers, Jan
