401 - Unauthorized error on existing bundles

I'm developing a site and have previosly created some bundles, both styles and scripts, but suddenly I'm getting a 401 error when trying to edit them.

    Umbraco 7.1.4
    Optimus 1.2.1

    Server Error

401 - Unauthorized: Access is denied due to invalid credentials.

Hi, could you please screen shot the entire window as I can't work out where that issue is occurring?

Well I had the sidebar menu, but the main window was just the above error.

But it works fin again today.

I haven't had any problems with the package before, so I'm chalking this one up to some weird freak coincidence that will probably never happen again.

This error occurs for me when also logged into the front end as a member.

If you are logged in both the front and back end of your site at the same time, then when picking a bundle you will get a 401 error, and when trying to edit a dynamic stylesheet, you just get the spinning dots.

Logout of the front end (i.e the website) and then it all works. (optimus v1.2.1)

I am not using any login on my frontend, so logging out of the frontend is sadly not a solution for me. Any other ideas on how to fix this 401 issue?

I just installed this plugin and am using Umbraco 7.2.2.  I get a 401 error whenever I try to create a bundle for Scripts or Styles. I found that when I was trying to create a script bundle it was trying to open the following path:
    /App_Plugins/Optimus/Index?virtualPath=~/bundles/DetailsPage&bundleType=script

    And for styles:
    /App_Plugins/Optimus/Index?virtualPath=~/bundles/DetailsPage&bundleType=style

As a test I gave the Everyone user full access to the App_Plugins/Optimus folder, but I still get the 401 error.
