We had problems with versions 7.0.0 and 7.1.0 as the uHateoas package is reliant on GetUmbracoAuthTicket, which doesn't seems to be supported by the earlier versions of Umbraco 7.1.x
Good news is that it works fine with version 7.1.5 and up!

uHateoas works with Version 7.1.5 and upwards
