Umbraco Forms is replacing Contour Forms from in Version 7.2 but Contour and Umbraco Forms projects are 2 seperate projects, with very different codebases so I think Contour will live for a while for older projects, there a still some Umbraco 4 out there and so on,

If you haven't seen it yet there is an uHangout episode where Per from the HQ talks about the new Umbraco Forms http://uhangout.co.uk/video/iTKb4k4UJqU, and you can find the documentation for Umbraco Forms here https://github.com/umbraco/UmbracoFormsDocumentation, but be awre that it is still in progress.

So Contour 3.x is the last version of Contour? And it appears that Tim is providing an extension to migrate Contour forms to Umbraco forms.

@Tim Will your migation package work for both legacy and Razor Macros? I assume it will migrate the workflows as well? Will it also migrate the data showing what forms have been submitted in the past?

To me it looks like that you can use the same license that you use for your Contour and then use it for Umbraco Forms, If you order a license today it says Umbraco Contour (Forms).

Another thing that supports this that Tim has made a Umbraco Forms Migration tool, so you can upgrade an old Umbraco version that uses Contour to the new Umbraco 7.2.1 for intansce that uses the Umbraco Forms. http://our.umbraco.org//projects/developer-tools/umbraco-forms-migration

So I think you can use the same license

It seems previous Contour licenses are usable for Umbraco Forms.

I could install a previous configured license for testing.

Thanks Dennis and Osman this is one of the last remaining questions which needed answering before we commit to v7.2 complete package.

I have problem deleting current form entries. When i try to delete entries nothing happens.

On console I see the error "http://localhost:42396/umbraco/backoffice/UmbracoForms/Record/PostExecuteRecordSetAction" on console.

I don't know if it's releated with my installation.

Did anyone has the same error before?

Is there any way to create custom fields to add image to the Umbraco forms. Or are there any ways to do this task?

I am newbie to Umbraco, just created contact us form through Umbracoforms in Umbraco Version 7.2.4. Everything works fine and sending out emails. But Emails shows up "Empty due to Umbraco Contour in trial mode" message. It looks like Umbraco running on Contour or am i missing something? Should i purchase license to avoid this? Any work around or solution highly appreciated as i am working on Non Profit project.

Email come as follows: "the form Contact form was submitted, this is the list of values it contained, you can turn this email off under workflows in Umbraco Contour Name: Empty due to Umbraco Contour in trial mode Email: Empty due to Umbraco Contour in trial mode Message: Empty due to Umbraco Contour in trial mode"

There is no option code first for Umbraco Forms, if you need this you will need to use Contour.
