I have tried this package on both the versions without any success , i guess the package is not updated to .net 4 yet??

I don't think it is a .Net 4 issue, as I use it on an Umbraco 4.7.1 running under .Net 4.0
Can you maybe post some more info about the problem/error message you have?

its not rendering in richtexteditor, page is empty when i add a macro , i also tried adding inside a template but the page fails runtime error.
Sort of a duplicate with this one: http://our.umbraco.org/projects/website-utilities/add-email-as-node/stuff/32257-Net4-version
In short, I haven't got time to upgrade this package at this point.... Sorry (source is avaliabale :-)
