It would be very helpful to have the PollNodeId dynamic so that different polls can run on different site pages. I attempted to do this with an xslt script, but quickly learned that calling a .NET macro from within an xslt file doesn't function in Umbraco. Has anyone had any experience doing this in a template?
If anyone can advise on this, we would greatly appreciate it!

i dont know if you still need the answer but for anyone who will...
i made a contentpicker parameter on the "Homepage" (my root document) document type and and named it poll
on the templated i write pollnodeid="[$poll]" so it will take the value recursively. hope it helps.
Just wanted to say thanks to Eran for posting a solution. Keep it up!
