I was going to make a new thread but this one seems alright since I have a problem with the canonical domain.
I have tried adding the canonical domain to generate the correct absolute path meta tags as www.mysiteexample.co.uk
Then once I tried saving, I keep getting the error:
Error: Error occured when saving configuration
What this does is it actually shows the correct url for an unspecified amount of time (not sure how much time) and then removes it.
Edit: The error comes up when I generally try to save anything in SEO Checker and it won't save properly no matter what I try to change. I tried pretty much everything
I think your file permissions are wrong. depending on the version you should give write access to /app_plugins/seochecker (v2) or /umbraco/plugins/seochecker(v1) then you can save again.
It has the write permission and the path is kind of different on the server:
It's \App_Plugins\SEOChecker
and inside of that there's another \seochecker folder.
I'm using 1.10 so I navigated to [root]\plugins\seochecker and gave permissions there, too. Still can't save.

There is a permission error. Maybe The Umbraco log file will tell you which file/folder is causing the issue.
