I want to know how to retreive all root categories and sub categories, because i want to databind it to dropdownlist or Navigation... please help...

Sounds like you need to do some asp.net forms?
In that case you might find uQuery usefull:http://our.umbraco.org/documentation/v480/Reference/Querying/uQuery/Content/

I am using Starter Kit... i am going to use Razor...
Like Rune said - try uQuery or the dynamic node features of Umbraco to get the categories. The categories is just normal Umbraco nodes - no Tea Commerce magic here :)
