I am currently evaluating the system and wondering if someone could answer a query around Shipping and Payment Methods.
In shipping methods i can see ships to and that seems to work front end - i.e. if i change the "ship to country" (under access tab) that seems to change what is being pulled out on front of the site.
Also under payment methods i can see (under access tab) available countries and again that seems to change what is being puleld out front end depending on what is selected.
HOWEVER... what is available payment methods under a shipping method for? It seems to have no affect on what is being pulled out?
This is an example of uCommerce having more functionality than what is actually leveraged in the default store. Another example is multiple shipments for one order. The default store only allows for one, but dropping to .NET will give you the extra capabilities.
The idea with the feature in question is to limit the payment method based on the selected shipping method, e.g. sometimes the shipping method is also the payment method as in the case of payment on delivery. By default it's not used in the XSLT store. If you need it you can enable it by using .NET though.
Shipping/Payment Setup
Hi,

I hope that is clear - hard to maybe explain.
Any help much appreciated
Kenny
