    Attach Hostname to Demo Shop problem

    Hi,

    I wonder if someone can help me please?

    I've downloaded and installed V3 of uCommerce and the latest demo shop (Avenue Clothing) but as soon as I 'Manage Hostname' and create a new hostname on the content node for the shop and then associate the demo store to this hostname all the cshtml files start to error.

    This is a brand new install and this is the first thing I've done with this install (ie I haven't created any new nodes or products etc).

    Any ideas anyone?

    Can you take a look on the database in the uCommerce_ProductCatalogGroup table and let me know how many entries there are there, is it just the avenue-clothing.com?

    You don't need to set the hostname necessarily, does it work if you leave it to default?

    Hi Tim,

    Thanks for your response. Right looking tin the table mentioned there are two entries: Avenue-Clothing.com and uCommerce.dk (?).

    It appears to work ok up until I try to attach the confirm page to the checkout pipeline and at that point it 'breaks'!

    Which version are you using? 3.0.x.xxx?

    Not sure of the exact version (as the files are at work) but it is V3.

    It would be super helpful to know the exact version you're running. Could you take a look in the "Installed Packages" section under "Developer"?

    Hi Søren,

    The version is 3.0.0.12320.........but strangely it appears to be working now!

    Maybe a cache issue?

    I usually republish the entire site after assigning a new hostname.
