Failed to save discount My Discount: An active Discount Code with the code already exists

Just getting my head around the discounts however when I choose 'Code', and then enter a code, set the rules etc, and save it gives me an error...

Failed to save discount My Discount: An active Discount Code with the code already exists

I named the discount My Discount and used a code SEAN01.

I've checked the vendr db tables and I don't have any discounts. Now i did try this once and i did manage to save a discount with a code, but i could not create another code for the discount. Any additional codes i entered resulted in the same error even though they don't exist in the db. I've deleted all the discounts and codes from the db, restarted the appPool but i get the same issue.

    Any Ideas?

    Thanks Sean

    Hey Sean,

What version of Vendr are you using?

    • Vendr 1.1.4
    • Vendr.Checkout 1.0.0
    • Vendr.Core 1.1.4
    • Vendr.Core.Web 1.1.4
    • Vendr.PaymentProviders.Invoicing 1.0.0
    • Vendr.Web 1.1.4

However now that I've checked installed nugets I'll update and see if that fixes the problem.

Yup, I thought it would as I recall fixing a bug around that, but needed to make sure you were on an older version.

Glad you got it working 👍
