You're right. The Http Module check works on a public server, but the package still don't work. Now it just returns 404. I've tested with 3.3, and there it works perfectly.
To be honest, you haven't really told me what's happening... So for me to help you without being a wizard with a crystal ball, I need to know what is going on ;-)
Thanks, now we're getting somewhere :-)
There shouldn't be a 404handlers entry, everything is working via a magic HttpModule, which is registered at runtime.
Would it be possible to receive a ZIP file of the project, including database and instructions on how you're running the project (IIS / IIS express, SQL CE / SQL Server)? I've been looking into reproducing this for a while and you can help me with just that :-)
Not working - it returns 404
Hi
I've just installed the newest version of Umbraco (7.2.5) and Url Tracker (3.7), and it's failing on the Http Module check:
I've tried with 3.6, 3.5, and 3.4, but they're failed too. 3.3 worked though.
The issue is exactly as mentioned in the stacktrace; the hostname 'xton.win.local' cannot be resolved by the server.

I'm not sure what you want me to do...
Me neither :-)
I hoped you had some kind of trick or had an idea about why it's not working. "Try look if this or that is missing in a config-file" :-)
For me it looks like the handler doesn't catch it before reaching the 404-page, but I'm not expert enough to know where it could go wrong.

Okay - I'll try again. The installation works now (just not locally).
Url Tracker catches 404 and stores them, so I can see them in Umbraco. It also catches moving and renaming of nodes, and stores that too.
The only thing not working, is the redirection - instead it just hits the 404 - File or directory not found.
There isn't anything in the log.
Should there be anything in the 404handlers.config related to Url Tracker?
Thanks, now we're getting somewhere :-)

Thank you!
Send me an e-mail on [email protected], and I will feed you with the data :-)
This is fixed in the just released version 3.8 :-) Thanks for your help!
Btw, please use the bug tracker next time ;-)
